Thank you so, so much to everyone who has called me, shared my writing, send me job listings and donated money since my original call for help. I am so blessed it overwhelms me: better than being overwhelmed by the hard times!
I am able to replace my computer and I have a lot less fear over paying my student loans in February. I’m currently visiting my family and doing some writing. When I get back to North Carolina, I’m going to introduce two sets of friends to beekeeping and attend a cut flower workshop. I’ll also, fingers crossed, have two original poems and a short story available to share with you, published in a new online magazine. I am finding that writing–whether it’s about food or the supernatural romance novel I still can’t believe I’m plugging away on because it’s just too silly to believe–is the thing that gets me up in the morning and keeps me going throughout the day.
THANK YOU, all of you, my friends through In Good Heart Farm, my family, my friends from high school and college and grad school and work and everywhere else, THANK YOU for giving me the confidence and faith in myself to pursue this goal.
